As General Manager of Yukon International, Calle brings more than 20 years of fresh-produce experience to the business. He leads the team with a strong focus on growth, long-term relationships and finding new opportunities across Yukon’s global markets. When he’s not working, he can often be found outdoors, enjoying adventure and staying active.

Danwille September

Senior Commercial Manager (Export)

After completing his formal studies in Food Science in 2010, he has spent the past 15 years working in the produce industry across various roles. He has a particular interest in business development, sales and marketing, using these skills to help drive Yukon Pty Ltd forward as global market leader in the produce categories in which it operates. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, pop a African House tune (or more) on Spotify, gardening and, on the odd occassion, a round of golf and a cold Black Label beer.

Karla Birkholtz

Commercial Planning & Category Manager (Edible Flowers)

Part strategist and part flavour curator, Karla manages key accounts, commercial planning and Yukon’s edible flower and microgreens category. She loves helping customers discover the more unusual side of fresh produce and matching great products with the right opportunities. Outside work, you’ll find her chasing mountain trails or swapping spreadsheets for Atlantic dips.

Emma Loock

Procurement & Planning Specialist

Emma brings more than 15 years of experience across finance, procurement and operations to Yukon. She works closely with suppliers and teams across the business, using her commercial and systems knowledge to keep planning, procurement and pricing running smoothly and efficiently. Away from the office, she enjoys family life and supporting her children’s sport. Emma is also a novice piano player who lives classical music.

Hanre van Zyl

Financial Manager

Hanre brings more than 20 years of finance experience in the fresh-produce and agricultural sectors to Yukon. He is focused on strong financial management, sound decision-making and supporting the wider team as the business grows. Away from the numbers, Hanre enjoys the outdoors, keeping active and challenging his physical limits.

Julia Delport

Head of Technical & Compliance

With a background in botany and environmental management, Julia brings technical expertise and a strong commitment to sustainable agriculture. She works closely with growers, suppliers and customers to maintain and improve Yukon’s high standards for quality, food safety and compliance. She cares deeply for the planet, health and wellness and is a mother and a lover of nature and long walks.

Vidhaar Vishnupersadh

Business Analyst & Systems Specialist

Vidhaar brings an analytical, systems-focused approach to Yukon, using data and business information to support better decisions and smoother operations. He works across reporting, investigations and system accuracy, helping turn detail into useful insight. Since moving to the Cape Winelands, he has embraced the region’s scenery, culture and active lifestyle.

Gretchen Ehrenreich

Senior Accounts Professional

Gretchen is a key member of Yukon’s finance team, bringing care, accuracy and a strong eye for detail to the company’s financial processes. She takes pride in keeping things running smoothly and supporting the wider business with strong fisccal control and reliable financial management. Gretchen also enjoys family time and is a proud mom and passionate Springbok supporter.

Logistics & Supply Planning Specialist

Jaco brings more than 10 years of logistics experience to Yukon, specialising in international freight, exports and supply-chain coordination. Calm under pressure and solutions-focused, he helps keep produce moving efficiently between growers, customers and markets. Jaco enjoys philosophy, the outdoors and strives to always be learning something new.

Alphoncina Langa

Depot Operations & Quality Check (Cape Town)

With 11 years at Yukon, Alphoncina has built extensive experience across operations, administration and quality control. Her hands-on approach helps keep the Cape Town depot running smoothly, from receiving and cold-chain checks to food safety and dispatch. She takes pride in getting the details right and supporting the team around her.

Lucky Sikhosana

Technical Support & Compliance

Lucky supports Yukon’s technical and compliance work, helping ensure that produce consistently meets customer, regulatory and food-safety requirements. She enjoys working with systems and people to maintain high standards and improve the way things are done. Outside work, Lucky enjoys reading, watching movies and keeping active.

Lindsay du Plessis

Head of Operations & Food Safety (Johannesburg)

Lindsay has almost two decades of experience in fresh produce and agriculture, with particular expertise in packhouse operations, food safety and compliance. She is passionate about high standards, strong relationships and creating a positive, team-focused working environment. Outside work, Lindsay enjoys family time, reading, crocheting and playing hockey.

Mariska Visser

Accounting Professional

Mariska supports Yukon’s day-to-day accounting operations, with a particular focus on debtor and creditor control and supplier relationships. She brings a practical, accurate and dependable approach to keeping the financial side of the business running smoothly. Outside work, Mariska enjoys creating magic in the kitchen, family time and a good Netflix binge.

Thandi oversees the day-to-day running of Yukon’s packhouse, leading the team and keeping productivity, quality and operations on track. Curious and solutions-focused, she enjoys understanding how things work and finding practical ways to improve them. Outside work, Thandi enjoys music, cooking, baking, reading and playing sport with her children.

QC controller and HR assistant

Hlengiwe works across quality control and HR, combining a strong eye for detail with a people-focused approach. She supports food safety and operational standards while also helping build positive relationships between employees, management and suppliers.
