How do we service our various customers?

On a daily basis we are sent e-mails and or facsimiles from our customers detailing their requirements for the next delivery date. We deliver products to the airport three times per week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The flights out to Europe and the Far East are normally on the day after delivery from the farm. At the airport our products are quality controlled by our airport staff and thereafter by the PPECB before onward flight.

How do we know what packaging and spec to use for each customer?

Each customer has specific packaging needs regarding whether the product is to be packed in punnets or in bags and also at weights varying from 150g packs to 400g packs. The weights and product size specs are provided by each customer according to his specific customer profile. Specific box sizes are required by different customers. This includes signage and colouring on the boxes. We also label the products for the customers according to their specs and label designs.

We pride ourselves on the fact that our Packline staff very seldom gets it wrong. Quality control through the packhouse is ongoing by the Quality Control Team. Our quality control team is constantly checking specs, quality and appropriate packaging to ensure that we meet the stringent demands of our customers.

How do new or existent customers decide whether a specific product or packaging will meet their specific needs?

If a customer requires a new spec product our agents will ask us to supply them with samples of products packed in various weights and packaging material. We would normally take photos of these and then also send physical samples to them for personal perusal by them.
